Areas of Application

SikaBiresin® F512 IN is used to cast the holes as balancing material. This product is suitable for professional experienced users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Processing Conditions

Before processing SikaBiresin® F512 IN both components have to be mixed homogeneously and air-bubble-free in the correct ratio as indicated with an accuracy of ± 3% on Component A and ± 2.5% on Component B. Most commercially available metering and mixing equipments are suitable. For advice on selecting and setting up suitable pump system, contact the System Engineering Department of Sika Industry. Consider that the B component is moisture-sensitive and must be therefore only be exposed briefly to air. Packaging of hardnerner (B) must be closed tightly immediately after use to prevent moisture    ingress.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

SikaBiresin® F512 IN minimum shelf life is 9 month under room conditions (18 – 25 °C), when stored in original unopened containers.

After prolonged storage at low temperature, crystallisation of components may occur. This is easily removed by warming up for a sufficient time to a maximum of 60 °C. Allow to cool to room temperature before use.


Containers must be closed tightly immediately after use to prevent moisture ingress. The residual material needs to be used up as soon as possible.
