These Four Core Areas of Sika Await You at the Trade Fair

Advanced Resins

The sustainable solution for model and mold making as well as for deep-drawing and prepreg tools. Sika's PUR pastes are used for 3D printing right from the concept and design phase.

The near-net-shape and dimensionally stable 3D polyurethane pre-model is created with a time saving of more than 74% compared to conventional construction. After the subsequent CNC milling, the finished model is created with the highest precision and surface quality. This sustainable solution results in savings of up to 82% material and up to 90% waste compared to the conventional construction method with PUR sheet material. Molds can also be made in this way in which molded parts for prototypes and small series are then produced.

Concrete

Sika offers various ready-to-use micro-concretes under the name Sikacrete® 3D for a wide range of applications from concrete furniture to house printing. The Sikacrete® 3D products can be processed easily and evenly with all common printers.

A 2K high-end solution is also available for the highest demands. With SikaColor FF liquid inks, the printed objects can be colored during printing.

Thermoplastic Systems

Thermoplastic materials change into the plastic range when heated and thus become processable. Sika's thermoplastic compound portfolio includes various materials such as PP, PE, TPO, PVC.

With more than 60 years of experience in thermoplastic membrane technology for roofs, our product range is designed for a long service life to protect your building from external influences: Our material successfully defies the everyday occurrence of standing water and other factors such as sunlight, pollution, wind, hail, snow and the growth of biological organisms.

Working with Sika thermoplastics means that we focus on sustainable, long-lasting solutions.

Automotive

Sika is also a key partner for automotive manufacturers and suppliers, offering a range of bonding, dampening, sealing and reinforcing solutions. Our innovative UV photopolymer for 3D printing offers excellent heat resistance, making it ideal for automotive applications such as hood and body-in-white components.

Additive manufacturing with our material supports design optimization, testing and rapid prototyping. This versatile high-performance polymer is also suitable for various industries where durability and temperature resistance are required.
